Import profiles from a spreadsheet

Upload a CSV or Excel sheet and map its columns to profile fields.

In review5 min · for all roles

These steps were written from the product itself but haven’t been walked through in the live app yet — so a button name may differ. We mark a guide verified only after a person has done every step on the date shown.

Bring a whole list of people in at once. Skode reads your CSV or Excel file, shows you every column it found, and lets you match each one to a profile field before anything is saved.

Open the import screen

From the Profiles list, click Import.
Open Profiles in Skode

Upload your file

Drop in a .csv or .xlsx file. The first row should be your column names — “Name”, “Phone”, “City”…

Match your columns to profile fields

Skode guesses the mapping and shows a preview. Anything it isn’t sure about is highlighted — pick the right field from the dropdown, or choose Skip to leave a column out.

Review and confirm

You’ll see how many profiles will be created and how many look like duplicates of people already in Skode. Nothing is saved until you confirm.
