# Import profiles from a spreadsheet

> To import profiles into Skode CRM: open Profiles, click Import, choose your CSV or Excel file, match each spreadsheet column to a profile field on the preview screen, review the count (including likely duplicates), then confirm. Nothing is saved until you confirm the import.

Bring a whole list of people in at once. Skode reads your CSV or Excel file, shows you every column it found, and lets you match each one to a profile field before anything is saved.

## Step 1: Open the import screen

From the **Profiles** list, click **Import**.
Open it directly: https://crm.skode.ai/leads

## Step 2: Upload your file

Drop in a **.csv** or **.xlsx** file. The first row should be your column names — “Name”, “Phone”, “City”…

## Step 3: Match your columns to profile fields

Skode guesses the mapping and shows a preview. Anything it isn’t sure about is highlighted — pick the right field from the dropdown, or choose **Skip** to leave a column out.

## Step 4: Review and confirm

You’ll see how many profiles will be created and how many look like duplicates of people already in Skode. Nothing is saved until you confirm.
