Accessibility Statement
Last updated: April 21, 2026
Skode Technologies Private Limited ("Skode," "we," "us," or "our"), a private limited company incorporated in India with registered office at Thirumangalath, Chelavur, Kozhikode – 673571, Kerala, India, is committed to digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually work to improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards to our website and platform.
1. Our commitment
We aim to conform to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 and 2.2 at Level AA across our marketing website (skode.ai) and our SaaS platform (Skode CRM and Skode Flow). WCAG 2.2 became effective in October 2023 and adds nine additional success criteria to WCAG 2.1 that we continue to incorporate into our design and engineering work. This Statement is aspirational: we have not yet completed a formal third-party accessibility audit and we do not yet hold a VPAT (Voluntary Product Accessibility Template) or ACR (Accessibility Conformance Report).
2. Measures we have taken
We have taken the following measures in the design and build of our Services:
- Semantic HTML: our pages use appropriate semantic elements (headings, lists, landmarks, forms) so that content can be correctly interpreted by assistive technologies.
- Keyboard navigation: interactive elements are designed to be reachable with Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, Space, and arrow keys without requiring a pointer device.
- Colour contrast: we aim for a minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text, as required by WCAG 2.1 and 2.2 Level AA. Some secondary UI elements in our dark-default theme may not currently meet this ratio; these are tracked under § 4 Known Limitations.
- Alt text: meaningful images include descriptive alternative text; decorative images use empty
altattributes so that screen readers ignore them. - Focus indicators: visible focus rings are provided for interactive elements so that keyboard users can track where they are on the page.
- Responsive design and zoom: the website and platform are designed to remain usable at zoom levels up to 200% and across a range of viewport sizes.
- WAI-ARIA: we use ARIA attributes where necessary to expose the role, state, and label of custom components to assistive technologies.
- Form labels and errors: form fields have associated labels, and error messages are communicated both visually and to assistive technologies.
- Skip navigation: a “skip to main content” link is available so keyboard users can bypass repetitive navigation.
- Media alternatives: where we provide video content, we include closed captions or text transcripts.
3. Conformance status
WCAG defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Our current status, based on internal assessment only, is:
- Website (skode.ai): partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 and 2.2 at Level AA. We are actively working toward full conformance.
- Skode CRM platform: partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 and 2.2 at Level AA. Some complex interactive components (tables, drag-and-drop, data-visualisation) have known limitations — see below.
- Skode Flow platform: partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 and 2.2 at Level AA. Real-time messaging interfaces present accessibility challenges that we are continuing to address.
Honest caveat. The statements above reflect Skode’s own internal assessment. We have not yet engaged an independent accessibility auditor and no VPAT or ACR has been issued. Enterprise customers who require a formal conformance report can request one at accessibility@skode.aiand we will work with a third-party auditor to produce one as part of the engagement.
4. Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some areas of our Services may not yet be fully accessible. Known limitations include:
- Complex Data Visualizations: Some charts, graphs, and dashboards may not be fully accessible to screen readers. We provide alternative text summaries where possible, and we are working to improve data table alternatives for all visualizations.
- Drag-and-Drop Interfaces: Pipeline views and kanban boards use drag-and-drop functionality that may be challenging for keyboard-only users. We provide alternative keyboard-accessible methods for moving items between stages.
- Third-Party Integrations: Some content or functionality provided by third-party services may not meet our accessibility standards. We work with our partners to encourage accessibility improvements.
- PDF Documents: Some PDF exports and documents generated by the platform may not be fully accessible. We are working to improve PDF accessibility.
- Real-time chat: live-messaging features may present challenges for screen-reader users due to the dynamic nature of the content. We are implementing ARIA live regions to improve this experience.
- Material Symbols icon font: we use Google Material Symbols across the interface. Decorative icons are marked
aria-hidden="true"and meaningful icons have adjacent text oraria-label. Coverage has not been fully audited; if you encounter an icon without adequate labelling, please report it using the contact details below. - Dark-default theme and amber accent contrast: the platform is dark-themed by default with Amber (
#F5A623) as the primary accent colour. While the majority of text meets WCAG AA contrast, some secondary and disabled-state UI elements may fall below the 4.5:1 threshold. We welcome reports of specific contrast violations and address them as part of our regular design reviews.
5. Assistive-technology compatibility
Our Services are designed to work with widely used assistive technologies. We have not yet conducted formal end-to-end testing with every tool listed below; we welcome feedback on any incompatibilities you encounter:
- Screen readers — NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack.
- Screen-magnification software.
- Speech-recognition software such as Dragon NaturallySpeaking.
- Keyboard-only navigation.
- Browser zoom up to 200% magnification.
6. Testing and evaluation
We evaluate the accessibility of our Services through:
- Automated testing tools (axe-core, Lighthouse, WAVE).
- Manual testing with screen readers and keyboard navigation.
- User feedback — including from users who rely on assistive technology.
- Periodic third-party accessibility audits are on our roadmap and not yet scheduled; we will publish any resulting VPAT or ACR when it is available.
7. Feedback and contact
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of our Services. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please tell us so we can address it:
- Dedicated address: accessibility@skode.ai
- General support: support@skode.ai with subject line “Accessibility Feedback”.
When reporting an accessibility issue, please include:
- A description of the issue and the page or feature where it occurs.
- The assistive technology you are using (screen reader, browser, etc.).
- Your operating system and browser version.
- Any suggested improvements.
We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within 2 business days and provide a resolution or workaround within 10 business days.
8. Continuous Improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We are committed to continually improving the accessibility of our Services by incorporating accessibility into our design and development processes, training our team on accessibility best practices, and addressing issues as they are identified. Our accessibility roadmap is reviewed quarterly.
9. Legal and regulatory frameworks we align with
This Statement aligns with the following accessibility standards and regulations. As noted in § 3, we have not yet completed formal third-party conformance audits against each of these:
- Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 and 2.2 Level AA — the de facto baseline for web accessibility, published by W3C. WCAG 2.2 became effective in October 2023 and adds nine success criteria to WCAG 2.1.
- EN 301 549 — the EU harmonised standard for ICT accessibility, used for public-sector procurement and referenced by the European Accessibility Act.
- European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882) — binding on EU-established businesses and on non-EU businesses offering covered services in the EU from 28 June 2025. We are working to align with the EAA where it applies to our service offering.
- Section 508 of the US Rehabilitation Act — the US federal procurement accessibility standard, based on WCAG 2.0 Level AA.
- Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Title III — US federal civil-rights law applied to services offered to the public.
- Equality Act 2010 (United Kingdom) — duty to make reasonable adjustments for disabled users.
- Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA, Canada).
- Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (India) — and the Guidelines for Indian Government Websites (GIGW) where applicable to public-sector customers.
