Account Setup
A properly configured account ensures your team gets the most out of Skode. This guide covers profile settings, team management, workspace configuration, and security hardening.
Profile Settings
Click your avatar in the top-right corner and select My Profile. Here you can update your display name, avatar photo, timezone, language preference, and notification settings. Your timezone affects how task due dates and activity timestamps are displayed across the platform.
Team Management
Navigate to Settings > Team Members to manage your organization. Skode supports three default roles:
- Admin — Full access to all modules, settings, billing, and user management
- Manager — Access to leads, deals, reports, and team-level settings. Cannot modify billing or workspace configuration
- Agent — Access to assigned leads, deals, and tasks. Limited reporting access
You can create custom roles under Settings > Roles & Permissions for granular access control across all 19 modules.
Workspace Configuration
Under Settings > Workspace, configure your company name, logo, default currency, fiscal year start, and business hours. Business hours affect SLA tracking for lead response times and task escalation rules.
Security Settings
Under Settings > Security you can configure password policies (minimum length, complexity requirements, expiration intervals) and connect enterprise single sign-on via SAML 2.0 or OIDC. Two-factor authentication for end-user accounts is on our roadmap and not yet available; we recommend strong, unique passwords and SSO-enforced access until it ships. See our Security page for current controls and the honest list of what’s still being built.
Email & Notification Preferences
Configure email digest frequency, push notification triggers, and in-app notification preferences. Each user can override global settings from their profile. Supported notification channels include email, browser push, mobile push, and Slack integration.
