What is a profile?

The idea in two minutes — what lives on a profile and who sees it.

In review2 min · for all roles

These steps were written from the product itself but haven’t been walked through in the live app yet — so a button name may differ. We mark a guide verified only after a person has done every step on the date shown.

A profile is one person, on one page. Everything your team knows about them — details, conversations, deals, tasks, history — lives there, so nobody has to ask "who is this again?"

One person, one page

Open Profiles in the left menu. Every row in the list is one person. Click any row to open their page.

What lives on a profile

Their details (name, phone, email and your custom fields), their tags, every conversation, any deals and tasks, and a timeline of everything that happened.

Where profiles come from

Profiles are created by hand, imported from a spreadsheet, or arrive on their own — from your forms, your website chat, and conversations in Skode Flow.
