Skode CRM integrates with Google Gemini, letting you query your leads, deals, contacts, invoices, and e-commerce data directly from Google's AI assistant. For teams already working in Google Workspace, this connector keeps your CRM data accessible without switching apps.
Why Gemini for CRM?
If your team lives in Google Workspace — Gmail, Google Docs, Sheets, Calendar — adding CRM access to Gemini means you never have to context-switch. Draft a proposal in Docs and pull in deal details from your CRM. Build a forecast in Sheets with live pipeline data. Check a contact's history before your next meeting, all from within the Google environment.
Gemini's deep integration with Google Workspace also means it can correlate CRM data with your email threads, calendar events, and document history, giving you richer context than a standalone CRM query.
Prerequisites
- An active Skode CRM account on any paid plan.
- A Google Workspace subscription with Gemini access (Business, Enterprise, or Gemini Advanced).
- Admin or Manager role in Skode CRM.
Step 1: Generate Your Skode API Key for Gemini
Log in to Skode CRM and navigate to Settings > Integrations > AI Connectors. Click New Connection and select Google Gemini. Click Generate API Key and copy the key.
Step 2: Install the Skode CRM Extension in Gemini
Open Gemini (gemini.google.com or the Gemini panel in Google Workspace). Go to Extensions and search for Skode CRM. Click Enable, then paste your Skode API key when prompted. Click Connect to authorize.
Step 3: Verify the Connection
In Gemini, type: "@Skode show my open deals." If the connection is active, Gemini will return your open deals with stage, value, and contact details. The @Skode prefix tells Gemini to route the query through the CRM connector.
Step 4: Configure Data Scope
In Skode CRM, go to Settings > AI Connectors > Gemini to configure which modules and fields Gemini can access. You can restrict access to specific modules or enable full CRM access.
Example Queries
Pipeline Queries
- "@Skode What is my total pipeline value for Q2 2026?"
- "@Skode Show deals in the proposal stage sorted by value."
- "@Skode Which deals are expected to close this week?"
Lead Queries
- "@Skode How many new leads came in from the website this month?"
- "@Skode List unassigned leads with a score above 80."
- "@Skode What is our lead-to-deal conversion rate for Q1?"
Invoice Queries
- "@Skode Show all unpaid invoices over 30 days old."
- "@Skode What was our total revenue invoiced last month?"
- "@Skode Are there any deals without a linked invoice?"
Google Workspace Synergy
Where Gemini truly shines is when you combine CRM queries with Workspace actions:
- "@Skode Pull my top 10 deals by value and create a Google Sheet with deal name, value, stage, and expected close date."
- "@Skode Summarize the contact history for Jane Smith at TechCorp, then draft a follow-up email in Gmail."
- "@Skode Check if I have any deals closing this week and add prep reminders to my Google Calendar."

Troubleshooting
"Extension not available" in Gemini
The Skode CRM extension requires a Google Workspace plan with Gemini access. Personal Google accounts with Gemini Advanced may also work. Check with your Google Workspace admin if extensions are enabled for your organization.
Queries returning partial data
Check your data scope settings in Skode CRM. If a module is disabled in the connector scope, Gemini cannot query it. Also verify that the Skode CRM user account linked to the API key has permission to view the requested data.
