# Reminders and follow-ups

> Skode CRM can remind your team to follow up: create a task with a due date from any profile, and set org-wide reminder rules in Settings → Lead reminders so profiles that go quiet too long trigger a nudge to their owner.

The deal you lose is usually the one nobody replied to. Two tools stop that.

## Step 1: A one-off follow-up

On the profile, add a **task** with a due date — “Call back Thursday”. It shows up in your task list and on the profile.

## Step 2: Org-wide reminder rules

In **Settings -> Lead reminders**, set how long a profile may go quiet before its owner gets nudged.
