# Create a profile

> To create a profile in Skode CRM: open the Profiles module, click the New button, fill in the person’s name and at least one way to reach them (phone or email), and save. The new profile opens immediately.

When someone new comes in by phone or in person, add them yourself — it takes under a minute.

## Step 1: Open Profiles and click New

From the **Profiles** list, click the **New** button in the top-right corner.
Open it directly: https://crm.skode.ai/leads

## Step 2: Fill in who they are

Name first, then at least one way to reach them — **phone** or **email**. Everything else can wait.

## Step 3: Save

Click **Save**. The profile opens straight away, ready for tags, notes or a first task.
